Apple Music Replay 2026: How to See Your Top Songs, Artists, and Stats
Updated October 21, 2026 · Marquee Guides
Quick answer
Open the Music app, go to the Home tab, scroll to “Replay: Your Top Music,” and tap “Go back in time.” Or sign in at replay.music.apple.com and choose Jump In. Replay shows your top songs, artists, and albums for each month, an All Time playlist of your most played songs, and, at the end of the year, your play counts and listening time. If Replay doesn’t appear, turn on Use Listening History in Settings → Apps → Music and keep listening until Apple notifies you that your Replay is ready.
Apple Music Replay is Apple’s answer to Spotify Wrapped: a running recap of what you’ve listened to, updated every month, with a full year in review each December. It’s built into Apple Music, so there’s nothing to install.
Here’s how to find your Replay on every device, what it shows month by month and at the end of the year, when Replay 2026 arrives, how to find your past years, and what to do when Replay refuses to show up.
What is Apple Music Replay?
Replay is the listening recap built into Apple Music. Apple says it’s calculated from your listening history, play counts, and time spent listening, across songs, artists, albums, playlists, genres, and stations. Once you’ve played enough music, Apple sends a notification that your Replay is ready.
It comes in two parts. Monthly insights rank your top songs, artists, and albums for each month, with milestones along the way. The year-end Replay adds genres, playlists, and stations, your play counts and total listening time, and a highlight reel you can share. Replay also tells you if you were among the top 100, 500, or 1,000 listeners of an artist or genre.
How to get your Apple Music Replay on iPhone or iPad
- Update to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
- Open the Music app and go to the Home tab.
- Scroll down to “Replay: Your Top Music.”
- Tap “Go back in time” to open your listening stats.
On Android, update the Apple Music app and follow the same steps from the Home tab.
Apple Music Replay on the web, Mac, or PC
Replay also lives at replay.music.apple.com, which works in any browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, or PC. Sign in with the Apple Account you use for Apple Music and choose Jump In. The web version is the easiest way to see Replay on a Mac or Windows PC, and it’s where you can browse every past year side by side.
What Replay shows
- Monthly insights: your top songs, artists, and albums for each month, plus milestones.
- Your Replay 2026 playlist: your most played songs of the year so far, updated every week. You can add it to your library.
- The All Time playlist: your most played songs across your whole Apple Music history.
- Your year in review: at the end of the year, your top songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists, and stations, with play counts, totals, and listening time.
- A highlight reel: an audio and visual recap of your most played music that you can share from iPhone or Android.
- Past years: every previous Replay, so you can compare this year with the last.
When does Apple Music Replay 2026 come out?
The monthly part of Replay 2026 is already running. Each month’s recap appears in the Replay section a few days after the month ends, and the Replay 2026 playlist updates weekly.
The year in review arrives in early December. Apple opened Replay 2024 on December 3, 2024 and Replay 2025 on December 2, 2025, so expect Replay 2026 in the first days of December 2026. Apple doesn’t announce the date in advance; the Music app notifies you when yours is ready. Until then, the monthly recaps and your Replay 2026 playlist show how the year is shaping up.
How to find the Replay All Time playlist
The All Time playlist collects your most played songs across every year you’ve used Apple Music. In the Music app, go to the Home tab, scroll to the Replay section, and look for All Time next to this year’s Replay playlist. On the web, it’s listed with your other Replay playlists at replay.music.apple.com. Tap the add button to keep it in your library.
Apple Music Replay not working or not showing up?
Apple’s advice is to wait for the notification that your Replay is ready and to make sure Use Listening History is turned on for all your devices. If Replay is missing or stuck, check these in order:
- Turn on Use Listening History. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → Apps → Music. On a Mac, open the Music app, choose Music → Settings, click General, and select Use Listening History. On Android, tap the More button, then Settings. Replay is built from the history this setting records, and plays made while it’s off don’t count.
- Keep listening. Replay needs enough plays before it can rank anything. A quiet month may show nothing until you’ve listened more.
- Sign in with the right Apple Account. On the web, replay.music.apple.com shows the Replay for whichever Apple Account is signed in. Use the one your Apple Music subscription is on.
- Update your device. Apple asks for the latest iOS, iPadOS, or Android version before Replay appears in the Music app.
- Give it time. Monthly recaps appear a few days after the month ends, and a change to Use Listening History takes a while to show up.
Apple Music, and with it Replay, isn’t available in every country or region. Apple keeps a list of where it works.
Looking for Apple Music Replay 2025 or an earlier year?
Past Replays don’t disappear. In the Music app, the Replay section of the Home tab lists your previous years below the current one, and replay.music.apple.com shows every year you were a subscriber. Your Replay 2025 playlist stays in your library if you added it at the time.
How to share your Apple Music Replay
Replay insights have a share button, and on iPhone or Android the year-end highlight reel can be shared as a video. That covers December. For the other eleven months, Marquee’s free Your Week recap turns every Sunday into a shareable card: a Marquee Sign, Ticket Stub, Chart Poster, or Setlist, drawn in your theme colors at story size. See Apple Music Wrapped and Replay for the cards and how to share Apple Music to Instagram Stories.
Apple Music Replay vs. Spotify Wrapped
Replay is updated monthly and is available all year, while Wrapped is a once-a-year event. Wrapped is more theatrical, with its slideshow and personality labels; Replay is closer to a stats page, with a highlight reel added in December. Neither shows play counts for individual songs on demand. If you switched from Spotify and miss Wrapped day, our Apple Music Wrapped guide covers what maps to what.
The stats Replay doesn’t show, and where to get them
Replay is a recap on Apple’s schedule. It doesn’t show how many times you’ve played a specific song, it doesn’t cover last week or last month, and the play counts and listening time only arrive at the end of the year. Marquee, a free player for Apple Music, fills those gaps:
- Library Insights reads the lifetime play counts iOS keeps for your library, so your all-time totals are there the moment you install. Marquee Pro adds charts of your top artists, albums, genres, and decades, plus ranges like Last Week and Last Month. See how to see your Apple Music stats.
- Your Week recaps your hours, plays, and top artist every Sunday, free, with the four share cards above.
- Last.fm scrobbling keeps a permanent, timestamped record of every play. Marquee scrobbles to Last.fm for free, and your listening history stays yours.
