Apple Music Stats: How to See Your Top Songs, Artists, and Play Counts

Where to find each Apple Music stat

1. Top songs, artists, and albums this month: Apple Music Replay, in the Music app’s Home tab or at replay.music.apple.com.
2. Your most played songs of all time: Replay’s All Time playlist, in the Replay section of the Home tab.
3. How many times you played a song: not on iPhone. On a Mac, the Music app can show a play count column, or use a stats app like Marquee.
4. Minutes listened this year: year-end Replay. For a running total any time, use a stats app.
5. Stats for last week or last month: not in Apple Music. Stats apps track this from the day you install them.

Apple Music Replay: Apple’s built-in stats

Replay is Apple’s stats feature. Apple says it ranks your top songs, albums, artists, playlists, genres, and stations using your listening history, the number of plays, and the time you spent listening. Once you’re eligible, you get monthly insights with your top songs, artists, and albums. At the end of the calendar year, Replay adds play counts, totals, and the time you’ve spent listening.

1. On iPhone or iPad: open the Music app, go to the Home tab, scroll to “Replay: Your Top Music,” and tap “Go back in time.”
2. On the web: go to replay.music.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account you use for Apple Music, and choose Jump In.

If Replay doesn’t appear, Apple’s advice is to make sure Use Listening History is turned on for all your devices. On iPhone, it’s in Settings → Apps → Music. How to see your most played songs and play counts

Replay keeps two playlists for this. This year’s Replay playlist collects your top songs and is updated weekly, and the All Time playlist gathers your most played songs across your whole Apple Music history.

For exact play counts, the iPhone Music app doesn’t help: iOS keeps a lifetime play count for every song in your library, including plays from CarPlay and AirPods, but never displays it. On a Mac, click Songs in the Music app’s sidebar, choose View → Show View Options, add the play count column, and click its heading to sort by most played. On iPhone, you need an app that reads those counts.

Third-party apps fill the gaps Replay leaves. Here’s how the main options work, from each app’s US App Store listing as of October 2026:

4. PlayTally ($2.99). A “real-time Replay” with top tracks for any date range and a day-by-day history synced through iCloud. Like Song Stats, it tracks from the day you install.

How to see your Apple Music stats in Marquee

1. Download Marquee free from the App Store and allow access to Apple Music.
2. Open the Library tab and tap the Library Insights row at the top.
3. See your lifetime totals free, or go Pro for ranked charts and time ranges.

Lifetime stats include everything you’ve played in Apple Music, not just what you play in Marquee. Ranges like Last Week fill in from the day you install, because the system play counts can’t say when a play happened.
